A Debt Consolidation Loan Really Saved Us

My husband was laid-off for 7 months. Even though he had unemployment checks coming in, it didn’t cover all of our expenses. We started relying heavily on our credit cards. Our bills kept piling up and for awhile it was easy for us to juggle them. We would take cash advances to pay other cards when they were due and then use those cards to do the same thing. My mom suggested that we look into a debt consolidation loan. It really saved us. We received debt counseling and took out a loan at the same time. We learned to live with less things in our lives but now we could afford the necessities.
