In order to bring back their credit history, one option they can take is to apply for secured credit cards online. Secured credit cards are just the same as regular credit cards. The only difference is that you will need to have collateral in form of cash. You have to deposit this to an account and this will serve as your credit line. For example, you have $700 deposited in an account. This means you can also spend $700 on your credit card. But just like a regular credit card, you have to pay back this amount regardless of your deposit.
