Patents are Just as Important as the Invention Process

When you patent a product, you are protecting it from theft and guaranteeing your right to sell that product once you perfect it without anyone being able to produce the same product for sale. Patents, however, do not protect you if someone else improves on your product in such a way that makes it better for other people to use, so it is important to try to think of every possible way that you can improve your product in the future and include those methods in your patent. Protecting yourself is just as important as inventing new things. It would be terrible to have your idea taken from you.
