What Should I Look For In a Credit Card?

There seem to be so many different types of credit cards out there it is hard to figure out what I should get. What sorts of things should I look for when I choose a card, besides low interest and no annual fee? I want to get the best possible deal on a credit card so that I don’t end up paying through the nose if I have to carry a balance for a while. I was thinking of going to one of those instant credit card websites and seeing which cards look the best, but I don’t want to overlook anything in the fine print.
