Do I Need A Windows 7 Registry Cleaner For A New Computer?

Do they need to clean the registry of a fairly new computer? I have a computer that is only three weeks old, and it is so slow. I don’t think that it is long enough, but my sister thinks that it may be since I use it so much. I guess it wont hurt to try a Windows 7 registry cleaner and clean it, but I am really not the tech type, so I am a little apprehensive about the whole ting. I wonder if you can take it to the store where you bought it and maybe they could do that for me? I would be more comfortable if they did.
