How Many Benefits of Colon Cleanse Procedures are There?

Every time I read something about colon cleansing online or in a magazine, it talks about more benefits to the practice. I end up asking myself, how many benefits of colon cleanse procedures are there? I am having a hard time determining in my own mind, whether or not I believe all of the claims that are being made out there or if I think they are just marketing ploys being put out there by people trying to sell colon cleansing products. I hope that all of these so called benefits are true but I am having a hard time believing that they are.
