A lot has been said that adding certain food items to the diet as a part of panic self help, however there are a lot of other food items that one should avoid in order to ensure that they are safe from panic attacks. Some of the food items that need to be avoided include coffee, chocolate and tea. It is also suggested that items that are rich in sugars and other carbohydrates need to be avoided as well. This is due to the fact that they increase the blood pressure of the people, which in turn can be very troublesome for someone prone to panic attacks.
