Using Subcision As Acne Scar Treatment

There are plenty of different ways that a person can deal with scarring from their acne. One method is to use subcision as an acne scar treatment. This is mainly effective for smaller surface scars that are more like bumps and divots than deep scarring. This method is used to break up the scar tissue that causes the irregularities in the surface of the skin. This allows the skin to pull tight around the scarred area which reduces the appearance of the scarring. This works for plenty of people but usually has a better success rate when dealing with only mild scarring.
