Ages and Experience of Drivers are Also Considered When Purchasing Truck Insurance

My commercial truck insurance policy considers the ages and driving experience of all my drivers. Truck insurance companies base their quotes on statistics. Young drivers just starting out or old drivers in the business for years may pose special risk factors that the insurance company needs to consider when writing a policy for a business. The accident history for the business as a whole is also considered. I am going to see if I can lower my insurance premium on Monday when I visit the insurance office downtown. I hired some new drivers and others retired over the past year and I would like to see how much of a difference this will make.
