My Son Drove Over in an Old Chevy Truck

    September 2nd, 2010 by admin

I told my son that I had always wanted an old Chevy truck, but I never had the money to buy one. I was always working two jobs just to put food on the table. Life was hard back then, but the kids turned out well. They all went off to college and made a great life for themselves. On my sixty-fifth birthday, my son drove over. He drove a 1955 Chevy Cameo, with Antique Car Insurance, and he gave me the keys. He said it was mine. I could not believe he did that for me. I told him that he was now my favorite child and not to tell the others.
