My Dog Ate My Book

I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series of books written by J.K. Rowling. For my birthday one year, each person in my family picked a different book of that series to buy me. It was one of my best birthday’s ever. I love these stories so much that I read all of them in one week. This is no small feat given that they are each a couple hundred pages in length. So I was devastated to find my dog chewing on the bookbinding of my coveted books. Thankfully she just ruined the exterior of the book and the pages were all left in tact.
