I Like the Sound of Myself as a Court Reporter

When I told my parents that my goal was to become a court reporter, they didn’t quite know what to say. My dad, the practical one, wanted to know what I would get for a court reporter salary. He was rather pleased when I told him, although he also wondered how hard it would be to get into this field. I really don’t know the answer to that myself, at least not yet. I suspect it may vary with the area in which you live. I hope that I can do some job shadowing this summer. It sounds like a truly interesting line of work.
