Cheap wedding flowers will save you money

One way to cut costs at your wedding is to shop carefully for the flowers. We all know that florists and wholesalers put premium pricing on the blooms that brides (and mothers-of-the-brides!) will probably buy for the marriage venues. I know from our own experience that a bridal bouquet can be as expensive as it looks! The one our daughter had at her wedding was white roses with red roses for her brides maids. They looked exquisite and we gladly paid for them; but they WERE expensive. So the idea of cheap wedding flowers is very attractive. They are available if you and your daughter are prepared to move from the traditional roses that most brides will carry with them to the church, to non-traditional flowers that will look striking and yet not cost you the earth. Ask around among your gardener friends. Don’t both with the florists’s advice. Get some non-standard flowers for her bouquet and save yourself a heap of money — without losing any endorsement from your family and guests.
