Intimate experiences with a river cruise

When considering a cruise holiday one factor to look at is how intimate you want the experience to be. Not surprisingly, cruise ships can vary massively with some being large enough to house multiple pools, bars, clubs, shops and even running tracks. Certain ships will have up to 900 cabins or more, so it’s easy to blend into the crowd and find yourself meeting new people throughout your holiday. If you want a more intimate experience, however, where the crew all know you by name and they always have your favourite drink ready at the bar, then a river cruise is a good option. With much smaller ships, featuring perhaps only a hundred cabins or less, you’ll have a much better opportunity to get to know your crew and fellow passengers.
