Featherbed Nature Reserve

Last year we hired a vehicle from george car rental and stayed in the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Once we arrived and settled in, the experience proceeded with a 25 minute ferry cruise, which included fascinating tales about the lagoon and the early shipping industry and oyster cultivation which took place all those years ago. Visitors are encouraged to drive to the top of the Western Head, where magnificent views of point en route can be admired. Views stretch over the lagoon and into the heart of Knysna whilst guides explain the history and ecology of the reserve. The whole experience was truly memorable.
